IANTD Deep Air Diver

When diving to 130 feet and beyond, air management and self-sufficiency become extremely important. Most Deep Air courses teach you to rely on your buddy if something goes wrong. This course, however, will teach you to become self-sufficient through equipment redundancy and highly proficient diving skills. We believe that self recovery is a better way of anticipating "Murphy's Law" than totally depending on your buddy in an emergency. There are divers who are going to dive deeper and longer than the limits imposed by recreational diving. This course will introduce you to the concepts and tools you will need to to safely enter the realm of technical diving. For those who wish to go deeper, this course is a prerequisite for the Advanced Deep Air course which will train you to dive to depths of 160 fsw(feet of sea water.) Maximum depth for this course is 130 fsw.

IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver

Advanced EANx Diver training will give you better understanding of the alternative gas mixtures, equipment configurations, and diver discipline associated with technical diving while maintaining the conservative operational parameters of the traditional recreational diver (max. 130 fsw in non-overhead environments.) Advanced EANx diver training will make you a more knowledgeable, more skilled, and more disciplined scuba diver. EANx mixtures from 22%-40% are used for diving. EANx mixtures from 41%-50% are used to teach the fundamentals of safety and decompression procedures.

TDI Advanced Nitrox

An advanced exploration into Nitrox diving. Including Physics, Physiology, calculating the best mix for a particular dive. Introduction to the science of accelerated decompression and decompression theory. Expand your knowledge of Equivalent Air Depths & Equivalent Nitrogen Depths for managing Nitrogen up-take, Nitrogen Narcosis, and Oxygen toxicity.This course is generally done in conjunction with the Decompression Procedures course. This course involves planning and executing dives using EANx in mixes from 22% to 100% to depths of 150 fsw(feet of sea water.)

TDI Decompression Procedures

This course teaches you to plan and execute dives involving planned stage decompression. The course involves practicing emergency procedures, stress training, deployment of lift bag as a decompression platform. There is a gear configuration workshop which explores various ways of transporting or staging the additional equipment involved. You will learn how to calculate breathing rates, plan gas consumption, and match tank sizes to establish turn pressures. Safety procedures for diving and decompressing with oxygen rich mixtures are also addressed.
