The same old dive site takes on a completely different aspect at night. Different creatures come out at night and the true colors of the underwater world are visible at night because of the lights we brings with us. An incredible experience that leads many people to feel that night diving is their favorite kind of diving. 3 dives required and 2 are included.
The people at Technical Diving International & Florida Dive Training, Inc.recognize that there are no new diving skills involved in diving Nitrox. Therefore, there are no dives required for their Nitrox course. The course consists of a 3-4 hour session after the student has had a chance to review the materials. The course reviews the history, theory and practical applications of planning dives using Nitrox, includes a practical demonstration of analyzing a nitrox tank for oxygen content and properly marking that tank. The evening concludes with a short test to verifiy the student grasp of the material.
This course is designed to properly train Advanced divers to safely perform solo dives. The course will train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for solo diving. We will explore when and when not to solo dive, gear configuration, gas management, dive planning and many other topics. 2 dives are required and included. Additional equipment is required.
Nitrogen uptake limits our time at any depth underwater. Learn to extend your bottom time by planning multi-level dives or by the proper use of dive computers.
Learn to identify many varieties of fish or to note special markings or features that will allow you to identify them through reference materials later. Qualify yourself to take part in annual fish counts and similar activities. 2 dives required and included.
Learn the basics of underwater photography, including care and basic maintenance of underwater cameras, shot setup and proper lightning and selection of basic filters. Your own camera is required. 2 dives required and included.
Learn the basics of underwater videography, including care and basic maintenance of underwater video cameras and housings. Practice handling and buoyancy control while tracking subject matter, and the basics of story telling with video. Your own video camera and housing is required. 3 dives required and included.
Polish your buoyancy control, learn to trim yourself and your equipment. Determine your perfect weight for conditions, equipment and exposure protection. 2 dives required and included.
Course intends to familiarize divers with the operation and maintenance of diving equipment, extend the divers knowledge of theory and principles of operation of diving equipment. Routine maintenance and storage is discussed. Comfortable gear configurations are explored.

The course is design to be an introduction to deep diving and the necessary skills, knowledge and techniques to safely participate in deep diving activities. This course certifies the Advanced Open water diver to dive to the maximum recreation limit of 130 feet. 4 dives required and 3 included.
This course explores the planning, techniques, and hazards of search & recovery diving. Diving in limited visibility and navigating in poor visibility are practiced along with search patterns and use of lines and reels. Recovery of objects using various lifting devices is performed with full attention to the hazards and precautions. 4 dives required and included. Students required to furnish their own appropriate lift bag and reel.
Introduction to diving in overhead environments. This course explores techniques and hazards of wreck diving. Equipment practice and use includes lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels. Limited visibility situations, potential silting problems and emergency procedures are practiced. 4 dives over a minimum of 2 days.
