The first program that results in a permanent certification level. After completing portions of the Open water diver program you will be certified to dive to depths of 40 feet under the direct supervision of a Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor.

| Advanced Open Water Diver |
An exciting follow up to the Open Water Diver course that many divers proceed to immediately. This course allows you to become more confident with your diving skills, providing you with instruction in basic navigation and taking you on your first experience to 100 feet. Additionally, the course provides experience with three elective dives of your choice.

| Rescue Diver |
When you become comfortable in your own abilities and begin to focus outwardly to what you might be able to do help another diver, or if you have family members or friends that you dive with regularly and want to be able to offer assistance to them during moments of stress or distress. You are ready for the Rescue Diver course. When you elect to do your Rescue training with Florida Dive Training you get Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) through the PADI Emergency First Response Course and the Emergency Oxygen Provider course. These skills are integrated with the Rescue Diver Course which trains you to deal with situations from aiding a tired diver to managing a dive accident or search scene.
$500.00 for the individual, EFR & Emergency Oxygen Provider Courses included (At least three participants required to form a class.)
Advanced Open Water certification and 20 logged dives are a prerequisites. Course Materials cost approximately $150.00.
| Emergency First Response |
A one day training session covering Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS.) This course is not diving specific and we encourage divers and their family members to participate. Accident scene assessment is explored, along with illness assessment. Basic first aid for bleeding, fractures, electrocution and moderate trauma is covered.

Oxygen is the first aid of choice for all pressure related scuba diving injuries or illnesses. Learn the appropriate administration oxygen in dive accident scenarios. See information on Rescue Diver.

| Master Scuba Diver |
The highest rating in recreational scuba diving. Having completed your Advanced Open Water training and your Rescue Diver training with Emergency First Response training you need only achieve certification in five specialty areas to make application to PADI for Master Scuba Diver ranking. Several of the dives that you completed for your Advanced Open Water may be used to complete specialty area training.
Costs vary depending on which specialty areas you elect to train in.
| Divemaster |
The beginning of leadership training and entry into the ranks of professional divers. Training includes gaining instructor level understanding of most aspects of recreational diving along with training in supervising divers in training. Diving skills will be brought to demonstration quality. This course is a journey of self discovery in which your instructor serves as mentor, guide and evaluator.
